Arts policy from the centre ground, not the battleground

Culture together is a centrist arts policy think-tank that diagnoses and offers solutions to dysfunction in the British culture industries and the media.

Our Mission

  • Identify the root causes of cancel culture and other bad arts and media business practices
  • Boost the quality, appeal and profitability of this enormous sector, worth £130 billion to the UK
  • Examine ways in which Brand Britain can be repaired through the arts and media

Projects we undertake

Policy & Research

With decades of experience in the arts sector and adjacent industries - corporate/arts strategic partnerships, funding, publishing, arts education, academia, journalism, event management - and with wide industry and political networks, Culture Together's arts policy is informed by expertise. We can conduct studies and research projects for third parties on request for an agreed fee.

Substack

Read the lively and growing Substack that explores areas of bad business practice within the culture industries and media, offering regular opinion pieces and interviews with industry experts and famous names to analyse what's gone wrong and how we might fix it.

Debate

Culture Together runs its own in-person and online events. If your organisation has an up and coming seminar or panel event on a relevant issue, Culture Together's founder and CEO, Marnie Riches, has extensive experience of public speaking, addressing issues surrounding the arts, news media and current affairs, including identity politics, sexual politics and geopolitics. If you would like to explore the possibility of her participating in your event, get in touch.
